CBGB's (Landmark!)

Though the shows are now mostly aspiring punk/rock bands you've never heard of CB's has a rich history of helping foster the New York No-Wave/Punk scene of the late-70's (Richard Hell, the Ramones, Television, Blondie, Patti Smith, Talking Heads, New York Dolls...) which, of course, inspired the British punk movement, etc. etc. as well as being one of the city's premier indie rock clubs for the last 30 years.
